Background:
The client, a prominent player in the manufacturing industry, needed to insulate a very large dryer fan located in an outdoor environment. This fan plays a critical role in the manufacturing process, making it essential to maintain its efficiency and protect it from external weather conditions.
Scope:
Tailored & Mat Supplies was commissioned to provide full insulation coverage for the dryer fan. The solution involved the use of flexible insulation covers with varying thicknesses, ranging from 50mm to 75mm, to ensure optimal thermal protection while accommodating the fan's operational requirements.
Challenges:
The primary challenge in this project was designing insulation jackets that could withstand the harsh weather conditions the fan was exposed to, including temperature fluctuations, moisture, and wind.
